The Church of Perfect Liberty (PL) guides us into the 21st century with an enlightened new philosophy and spiritual understanding of life that can greatly assist us in our daily lives. PL is an independent international religion, philosophy and way of life that originated within the Zen Buddhist and Shinto cultures of Japan during the early 1900’s.

We are a religious organisation that is basically spiritual in nature and differs from traditional religions in many ways. Our primary goal is personal empowerment; helping people to live more enjoyable fulfilled daily lives. We believe that by helping people to achieve personal contentment, have harmony in their families and harmony in their interactions with others, we can eventually achieve world peace.

PL ministers are always available to help their members whenever they need assistance. When members request help in solving everyday problems, if they encounter serious sicknesses, have accidents or misfortunes befall them, the ministers are there to support them, provide confidential consultations, pray for them and guide them, depending on their needs.

A good deal of our success in helping people is related to PL’s powerful Oyashikiri Prayer, which has helped thousands of people improve their lives, even to recover from numerous types of serious illnesses and misfortune. Our different approaches in helping people have proven to be very effective and are also used by our medical practitioners in Japan. Therefore, if you have tried all options available to you in treating yourself, your spouse or your child for a serious illness and you just don't know where to turn next, we can help.

PL is not just positive philosophical teachings, but rather a practical positive way of living that anyone can follow, and as a result, they will lead more fulfilled contented lives. Those who continually practice the PL teachings in daily life find that people call them lucky. Positive things just naturally begin happening in their lives and they develop a feeling of contentment.

Our focus is on the here and now, not the hereafter. God has given us our precious human lives to live as we are right now; in the present. We should neither be living in the past nor caught up with living in the future, because the past is gone and the future is built upon what we do each moment, here and now. Also, we don’t speculate about an afterlife other than to say that when we die our soul returns to God. However, we do believe that we can pray for the spirits of our predecessors to assist us in times of need.
